Why Wordless Wednesday?
Topic: My Story | 9 Comments »Here is my problem, I thought I would take one day a week to put a photo and a short description of it on the blog. Trying to pick which day to do it on I looked at other blogs. Some blogs did it one Wednesday and called it “Wordless Wednesday” and a few did it on Friday. I thought I would go with the Friday as I thought it would be a good way to finish off the week. Soon after I noticed everyone was doing the Wordless Wednesday.
I normally wouldn’t worry about switching the day except that everyone who does Wordless Wednesday is sharing links with others who do Wordless Wednesday. I think that is quite cool. So now I have a dilema. Do I keep my “Friday’s Photo”, switch to Wordless Wednesday or try to do both?
I guess I will have to think on this one. Any comments would be helpful.

I’m not aware of the Friday gig and the Wordless Wednesday seems pretty popular. If you are after links then go with both, otherwise just post a picture when you feel like it.
Chuck: Thanks for the tip.
I say go with Wordless Wednesday. I keep meaning to do the WW thing, but I always forget — I suppose because Wednesday is trash day (or a similarly lame excuse). Anyway, WW is kind of a social event. Like Chuck, I hadn’t heard of the Friday thing…
By the way, great blog. I like the design.
James: Thanks for the advice. Your right the middle of the week gets so busy with life that blogging (for most of us) moves down the list of priorities.
I have done both wordless Wednesdays and photo Fridays, but my fridays are full of words
Angella: I am leaning that way. I love photos anyways. I have kind of slowed down with the pictures lately but maybe I should get back to taking more.
I don’t have an answer for you. When I use to do WW, I noticed a lot people actually posted on Tuesday. I think they should just call it Photo of the Week and let people pick their own day.
Daddy Forever: Thanks. I suppose it doesn’t really matter either way.
