Giggles And Wiggles
Topic: My Story | 5 Comments »A short time ago I posted laughing with your daughter and now finally I am getting the chance to experience some of those fun times. With a few half giggles I was excited but now she is beginning to laugh.
Jokes don’t work, goofy games don’t work, T.V. cartoons don’t work but silly noises and snuggles produce the happy giggles and wiggles.
Everyday I give her a kiss before I leave to work, everyday a hello when I get home. I think hugs, kisses and snuggles are very important. Both verbal and physical signs of love help pave the way to effective discipline.
When she knows I love her, want to protect her, provide for her and give my life for her then when correction comes she will have the trust that it is for her good and not harm. She will know that I want only the best for her.
For now I will have fun and be silly to making her laugh:

It’s so fun as they get older all the little things they do in responding to you. It just keeps getting better and better bringing more warm fuzzies for dad as it does. It’s cool reading of how excited you get about these moments as a new dad.
There is noting better than the laughter of a child, especially when it is your child. I can’t help up laugh when mine are all giggling. It seems to make the problems of the world go far, far away.
Ack.. this is too sweet.. giggles make the world go round..
I like to make my kids laugh too, but I don’t remember what I did to make them laugh when they were babies. I guess I should have made a video too.
The laughing is definitely good for both of you. That’s especially true when they get older and the snuggles help break the tension after you have to discipline them.
