My Little Swimmer
Topic: My Story | 3 Comments »The bath tub is an exciting place for a little baby. Water, bubbles, rubber duckies and lots of splashing. There is one little problem, the bath tube is not big enough for a mom, dad and a little baby. At least not our tub.
Today we took our little girl to a swimming pool at the university where I work. It was built for the Canada Games so it is big. there is a big water slide, hot tubs, dry & wet sauna, lap pool and diving boards of all heights. The best, a large kiddy pool with all sort of water falls and other play things.
It took a little while but soon she was splashing, kicking and giggling. I did not want to bring my digital camera so we found our old film camera to take a few pictures. Unfortunately this means it will be several months before we will get the film developed.
I was a little reluctant to go at first (long day of work) but am glad we went. It was fun to hold her in the pool and watch her play around.

That is pretty cool Orlund. Lots of kids freak out when presented with that much water. Good for you all that she is not among them.
It’s getting harder to find film, isn’t it? Maybe it was an omen, but my SLR broke after Costco stopped carrying film.
kids love water slides, they go crazy about it ::
