Okay, I haven’t been blogging very much recently sooooo I don’t know when it happened or even what happened but today I thought it was well past time to check things out on the blog. When I went to my blog however, I got the WordPress setup screen so I retyped my URL but got the same thing. The first thing that came to my mind was “I’ve been hacked”.

Well I am not so sure I got hacked but some how a table in my blog’s database got corrupted. The table itself was there but no data. Kind of odd! It happened to be the table with all the options so nothing could work without it. The good news is that my settings rarely change so my back up from a month ago worked and no posts or comments were lost.

I guess all the Database Administrator training at work paid off and I was able to save my blog!
