The Dock Side Of Life
Topic: My Story | 4 Comments »Life seems to only get busier. Each year I think about how “this summer” I plan to spend more of my evenings relaxing and spending the few precious months of nice heat. Each year it seems that there is more to do. Being a Dad, buying a new house and big projects at work don’t make the summer any longer.
During the long weekend we went down to visit my wife’s relatives. I took a few shots that remind me of Norman Rockwell and of being a kid. It is nice to forget about everything and just enjoy life for a day or two. That is why this year I am excited to go camping.
We could not book our usual campground this year but that was a good thing because we are trying a new campground and it looks nice. Since there will probably be no cell reception I will not bring my Blackberry work bought me just so I am not tempted to play Bricks, I will not bring my watch because I don’t care what time I wake up, eat lunch or take a shower. I will not be bringing anything electronic other than the air pump for our giant queen size blow up mattress in our tent.

Not my kids but still of cute anyways

Where is Norman Rockwell?

It's going to be a great summer

Nice photos. A lot of time, I wished I could live a simpler life. I wouldn’t mind living on an island with just my family for the rest of my life.

I want to be that guy that’s calling CDW from his hut on the beach to take care of his servers.
