Bundle of Joy

My sister wanted me to take some pictures of her in the park. Our little girl Joy was getting a little cold so my wife bundled her up. She looked so cozy so I had to snap this shot.

My Bed Room

A little while ago I painted a new bed room sign for my little girl Joy. This was her responce… I think she is kicking me out of her room because I am a boy.

Hi Mom

Her little hands always have to get into mischief, always looking for attention from mom. Here we are at a restaurant celebrating my dad’s birthday.

This is my little russian girl. Actually she is as Canadian as she can be but I love her in this hat. She always looks so warm and cozy in the middle of a freezing cold day. (Babushka: A woman’s headscarf, tied under the chin.)

So Smart

Every once in a while she gives us this look. All though I don’t really know what she is trying to say with her little look but to me it says “See dad, I got it all figured out”.

Daddy I'm tired.

Yes, sometimes play time does come to an end. She is a great girl. She may whine when she gets tired but once you put her down at night she is quite content. I think she gets her “I love my bed” genes from me.

Nothing But Bull

I went to help my brother put up some cabnets in his house out in the country. Later we took a ride on a quad to visit the cows and this one bull. It walked right up to us, about five feet away. Close enough to turn my jeans in to dark brown khaki.

Bath Time

My daughter loves playing in the water. The bath tub is one of her favourite places. Takeing her out is a hard thing and she doesn’t like it much. Micheal Phelps has a female competitor on his heals.

Just Cous(in)

This weekend we spent time with several of my wife’s relatives. It was impossible not to post this photo of my daughter’s second cousin. They are only three months apart but yet they are so different in what they do. It is hard to believe that my daughter was at that stage just three months ago.

Family

This photo was taken after Joy’s Dedication (last post). We thought we would take advantage of having both my parents (on the left) and Jenn’s parents (on the right) all together and dressed up. One of the most important reasons for us living here is because we want our daughter to be around as much family as possible.
