We got to take our daugher to the water park for the first time. She loved it. She even crawled right under one of the sprinklers and just sat there.

It was fun to watch her try to grab the water that was shooting out if the ground. She would try and pinch it.

I am starting a photo series on my other blog at www.orlund.com called Little Mermaid. It is going to be done over this summer and is all about My little girl and her love for water.

This is going to be a great summer. I hope you all have lots of fun with your families!

Baby Steps

My Daughter as just begun taking her first steps. After cheering her on, she gets so excited that she keeps trying to walk. It is amazing how just a little cheer and hand clap can help her accomplish so much.

It makes me that about how we see and treat others. It is easy to get upset or frustrated when people miss up on the little things, when we think they should know better. It is easy to say things in a negative tone or action. How much more would people be able to do if we encouraged them in even the small things?

There is a lot of potential in people that we often miss. We have the power to enable each other to do things far beyond what we could imagine. Our wife, children co-workers and even bosses could do a whole lot more if we looked at things more positively and encourage one another.

The Great Return

Nearly three weeks since they left and now my wife and daughter have returned. My daughter could not let go of me, it was the greatest feeling ever. I kind of wondered how she would react after not seeing me for three weeks.

It was not a fun night though. Since they came back from Thailand and the time difference is fourteen hours, night was day and day was night. I have been doing lots of overtime, just took a one day flight and haven’t slept much. Since my wife was sick I spent most of the night up with a crying baby. Hopefully this weekend will help get our lives back in order.

Sorry of no pictures in this post but I am sure you don’t want to see a family with big bags under the eyes and green with a mixture of cold and nausia from airplan turbulence. The camera will be put back into use once we begin to look more like people than aligns.
